One year

I brought Ash home one year ago today. It’s been a lot of fun learning about dragons in general and getting to know this sweet girl. I’m looking forward to many more years of fun.

Ash was barely 6 inches long nose to tail when I got her. She’s now about 18 inches long.

First Outing of the Season

Ash, on my arm, looking at dragon statuesYesterday was the first day we’ve had weather nice enough for Ash to go out with us. We went to a yard sale and then to Bemis Farm Nursery.  Ash loved all the sunshine she was able to soak up. She also seems to really enjoy seeing new things (from the safety of my arm).

Bearded Dragons are curious by nature. IF they’re handled regularly, they enjoy interaction with humans. It’s something to consider when thinking about adding a bearded dragon to your family. They’re happier and make great pets if you spend a lot of time with them.
